The National Institute of Labour Studies under the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment is an institution established by the National Institute of Labour Studies Act No. 12 of 2010. The National Institute of Labour Studies conducts courses and training programs that help create a skilled and productive human resource for the country. It conducts diploma, certificate courses, and professional certifications covering a number of areas such as Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Workplace Productivity, Social Dialogue, and Procurement.
