Vidyodaya Undergraduate Research Day (VURD) 2026, organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, provides a scholarly platform for final-year undergraduates to present and discuss their research in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Under the theme “Knowledge in Practice: Research on Contemporary Issues in Humanities and Social Sciences,” the conference encourages academic inquiry, critical thinking, and research excellence among students. VURD 2026 features nine academic tracks and aims to showcase innovative undergraduate research while fostering an engaging academic environment.
